(Austin, TX) Wednesday, Konni Burton commended Senator Craig Estes for his filling of S.B. 105, legislation that would repeal the business margin tax in Texas and provide a significant economic boost to Texas businesses and families.
“Senator Estes has shown strong leadership on tax reform,” commented Burton, “I spent years talking to constituents in Tarrant County and know that my district stands with Senator Estes on this needed reform. I am very proud to stand alongside him and support his effort to lighten the burden government has placed on Texas businesses. This desperately needed tax relief needs to happen this session.”
Konni Burton represents District 10 in the Texas Senate. Her district includes portions of Tarrant County including the cities of Ft. Worth, Colleyville, Arlington, Bedford, Euless, Hurst, Southlake, Burleson, Mansfield, Kennedale, Crowley, Aledo and Forest Hill.
